Simon Graham
about
I started my photography career working for the 'Ulster Star', Lisburn weekly newspaper in 1993.
During my nine years with this title I began shooting black and white negative, developing photos in the darkroom, moving on to colour printing then onto digital cameras where electronic transfer of the photograph is now the industry standard.
Joined Harrison Photography in November 2001 where I was involved in a number of high profile visits in Northern Ireland. We were the official photographers for every Royal visit to N.Ireland since I started. I have also undertaken assignments with Prime Ministers, Taoiseach's, Secretaries of State, three US Presidents and heads of state from various other countries. His Holiness The Dalai Lama along with prominent Business men, Politicians and also working closely with PR agencies and members of the general public.
I have worked at locations throughout the North and South of Ireland, England, France, Portugal and also carried out work in Canada and South Africa for the Northern Ireland Fire and Rescue Service and PSNI respectively. In 1999 I was part of a team commissioned by the Ministry of Defence to record the work carried out by the Royal Irish Regiment in Sierra Leone, West Africa.
